The event
The Michael Ann & Saquon Barkley Hope Foundation partnered with Ashley Furniture, Regency Management Services and The Salvation Army to host “Hope to Dream” at The Phield House in Philadelphia’s Spring Garden neighborhood. Fifty underserved children, several named in the local coverage below, were surprised with brand-new beds, mattresses and bedding essentials. Eagles running back Saquon Barkley attended in person, meeting the families and celebrating with the kids fresh off a Monday night win. DJ Reese ran music and hosting duties for the event, keeping the room moving through the kid-friendly activities and the big reveal as families saw their new beds staged across the facility.
