DJ Reese of No Stress Zone Entertainment is a corporate event emcee based in Marlton, New Jersey. We host corporate conferences, summits, galas and brand activations from Newark to Cape May, and we run the music too, so one operator owns the mic and the room. NJ case study: Alliance for Science East Coast Conference, Newark

The Alliance for Science runs its Annual East Coast Conference at the Marriott Newark Airport. The organization was known as the Diversity Alliance for Science, or DA4S, through 2025. Around 300 invitees attend: pharmaceutical executives, leaders of scientific and clinical enterprises, life sciences suppliers and buyers moving procurement conversations forward. This is not a trade show. It is a high stakes networking conference where every session has to start on time and every transition has to protect the conversations happening in the room.
We were booked as conference host and DJ in 2025 and again in 2026. The job: keep a scientific program on schedule, bring energy to the room without turning a life sciences conference into a party, and give sponsors and speakers a clean handoff every time.

NJ case study: Horizon NJ Health Mental Matters Summit
In 2025 we emceed and ran the music for the Horizon NJ Health Mental Matters Summit, more than 500 attendees. A summit about mental health asks something different of a host: warmth without forced hype, and pacing that gives heavy content room to land. The client’s feedback was that we did an amazing job, kept people engaged and showed the ultimate professionalism.
Also in New Jersey: brand activations that moved product
- PUMA at The Mills at Jersey Gardens: $70,000 in sales during a three hour activation. PUMA case study

See the Q102 reel It was part of Ashley’s Ultimate Summer Giveaway series, booked through Regency Management Services, and we were emcee and DJ at all three stops: Deptford and Northfield, New Jersey and York, Pennsylvania. What a corporate event emcee does in a New Jersey room
New Jersey corporate events often land in hotel ballrooms and conference centers near the airports and highway corridors, with audiences who drove in and want the day to respect their time. The emcee keeps it tight.
- Opens the program, sets expectations and gets the room settled fast
- Introduces executives, speakers and sponsors with names and titles right the first time
- Covers transitions and technical delays so the room never sits in dead air
- Keeps breakouts and general sessions on time and resets energy after lunch
- Drives audience engagement moments that serve the event objective, not the host
Emcee and DJ in one booking
Most corporate events in New Jersey hire a host and a DJ separately, then hope the handoffs work. We run both from one position: the same person who introduces your CEO also fires the walk up music, so there is no gap between the mic and the music and no second vendor to brief. For a corporate event planner, that means one contract, one run of show and one call on show day.
What it costs to book a corporate event emcee
Single day corporate conferences typically run $2,500 to $10,000, depending on hours, the number of segments we host and whether we also run music. We recommend booking 60 to 90 days out. For a closer number, use our pricing calculator or read what a corporate emcee costs.
