DJ Reese of No Stress Zone Entertainment is a corporate event emcee for conferences, awards nights, sales kickoffs, conventions and galas. We run the program from the first welcome to the last send off: introductions, transitions, recognition moments and the timing that holds it all together. We can run the music too, so one operator owns the mic and the room. We are based in Marlton, New Jersey, work New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia and Washington DC most often, and travel nationally.

What a corporate event emcee does
The emcee is the person who makes a corporate program feel like one event instead of a list of speakers. The job is part host, part stage manager and part audience engagement specialist.
- Opens the program, sets expectations and gets the room seated and settled fast
- Introduces executives, keynotes, sponsors and honorees with names and titles right the first time
- Covers technical delays, late speakers and schedule changes so the room never sits in dead air
- Keeps every segment on time, and adjusts the pace when the program runs long
- Creates crowd moments that serve the event objective, not the host
- Hands the room back to your team at the end with energy, not exhaustion
Proof from our programs
FTF News Awards, Hard Rock Hotel New York

FTF News hired us as emcee and DJ for its awards event in 2025, then booked us again for June 2026. An awards night is the least forgiving format in corporate events: every category call, walk up and acceptance has to land on time. We hosted the program and ran walk up music for every winner from the same position. Read the case study.
RMS Sales Kickoff, 500 attendees
Regency Management Services brought 500 people to Martin’s Crosswinds in Greenbelt, Maryland on March 22, 2026, the second year in a row they booked us. More than 20 segments of awards, leadership remarks and recognition, stacked back to back, with zero dead air. Read the case study.
Alliance for Science East Coast Conference

About 300 life sciences leaders at the Marriott Newark Airport, in 2025 and again in 2026. On April 29, 2026 the AV team’s wireless mic failed mid session. Our backup mic was already live on our own mixer and in the speaker’s hand within about 8 seconds, and the program stayed on schedule. Read the case study.
Also on the mic
- Lidl US Strategy Conference, Renaissance Arlington, 2025, more than 500 attendees. How we ran it
- 9/11 Day at the Intrepid, New York. DJ every year since 2020. In 2026, the 25th anniversary, we hosted and ran the music for all four days, September 8 to 11, with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani on the packing floor. Case study
- Horizon NJ Health Mental Matters Summit, 2025, more than 500 attendees
- 72 Lidl US grand openings in seven years, every ribbon cutting hosted live. What they taught us about crowd timing
Emcee and DJ from one position
Most corporate events hire a host and a DJ separately, then hope the handoffs work. We run both from one position: the same person who introduces your CEO fires the walk up music, so there is no gap between the mic and the music and no second vendor to brief. For a corporate event planner that means one contract, one run of show and one call on show day. Ten years in radio, including Z100 New York, SiriusXM and 98.7 Kiss FM, is where the timing comes from.
Events we host

Frequently asked questions
What does a corporate event emcee do?
A corporate event emcee runs the program: opens the event, introduces executives, speakers and honorees, covers delays, keeps every segment on time and creates the crowd moments that make the program feel like one event.
How much does a corporate event emcee cost?
Established corporate emcees typically charge $2,500 to $7,500 for most programs. With DJ services from the same position, a single day corporate program typically runs $2,500 to $10,000.
Can the emcee also be the DJ?
Yes, and it is our most booked format. One person on the mic and the music removes the handoff between two vendors, which is where timing usually breaks.
Where do you work?
We are based in Marlton, New Jersey and work most often in New York City, New Jersey, Philadelphia and the Washington DC area. We travel for conferences and conventions nationally.
How far in advance should we book a corporate event emcee?
60 to 90 days out for most corporate events, and earlier for spring and fall conference season and December dates.
Do you work with our AV and production team?
Always. We coordinate with your producer and the venue AV team on the run of show before load in, and we bring our own backup microphone.
