Corporate Event Emcee in Philadelphia, PA

DJ Reese of No Stress Zone Entertainment is the corporate event emcee Philadelphia planners book for conferences, sales kickoffs and brand activations. We host the program and run the music too, so one operator owns the mic and the room. Recent Philadelphia work includes Saquon Barkley’s Hope to Dream with Ashley, the Ashley activation with New Kids on the Block in Bensalem, and the Lidl US grand opening on Roosevelt Boulevard.

Philadelphia case study: Saquon Barkley’s Hope to Dream at The Phield House

In November 2025 the Michael Ann and Saquon Barkley Hope Foundation, Ashley and The Salvation Army brought Hope to Dream to The Phield House in Philadelphia. Fifty children were surprised with brand new beds, mattresses and bedding, with Saquon Barkley in the room and interactive activities running around the reveal. We were DJ and emcee.

A room like this runs on a handful of moments: the arrival, the surprise and the photos, with local news cameras rolling. The job is to keep fifty kids engaged between those moments, then land each one on cue so the families, the foundation and the partners all get the moment they came for. It is the same skill a corporate brand activation needs, with a much less forgiving audience.

Press coverage: NBC10 Philadelphia and The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Philadelphia area case study: Ashley and New Kids on the Block, 300 fans

On February 7, 2026, Ashley brought Jordan and Jonathan Knight of New Kids on the Block to its store in Bensalem, Bucks County, just outside Philadelphia, and about 300 fans showed up. We were emcee and DJ: building the crowd before the Knights arrived, running the free merch giveaways and the drawing for a trip to Las Vegas to see New Kids live, and keeping the floor energized after the big moment passed. Philadelphia hit radio station Q102 covered the event, and you can see us on the mic in Q102 Philly’s video of the day. We were booked through Regency Management Services, which runs promotional events for Ashley. Read the Ashley case study.

Summer 2026: Ashley’s Ultimate Summer Giveaway. Regency Management Services booked us again as emcee and DJ for all three stops of Ashley’s summer series: York, Pennsylvania and Deptford and Northfield, New Jersey. Each stop featured concert ticket giveaways, more than $10,000 in prizes and interactive booths from Q102 Philly, 92.5 XTU, 95.1 WAYV, Froggy 107.7 and Warm 103.3. Q102 Philly tagged us in its coverage, and J.Pac Productions, who photographed the series, credited the music to DJ Reese by name. See the J.Pac Productions recap.

Philadelphia case study: Lidl US grand opening, Northeast Philadelphia, December 2, 2020

EventStore grand opening, 9175 Roosevelt Boulevard, Northeast Philadelphia
DateDecember 2, 2020
SettingOutdoors, in winter, under the COVID rules in place at the time
CrowdHundreds of people waiting outside
RoleDJ and emcee

On December 2, 2020, Lidl US opened its new store at 9175 Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia, and we were DJ and emcee for the grand opening. Hundreds of people waited outside for the doors to open. It ran in the cold, under pandemic rules. That combination takes away most of what a host normally leans on: there is no warm room to hold the energy, hundreds of people are standing outdoors in December, and the rules keep them apart.

The job did not change. The people waiting outside still needed to feel welcome, the program still had to run, and the ribbon cutting still had to happen on time. Outdoors in winter, the host has to work harder for every minute of attention: steady music so the line never goes quiet, a mic that keeps talking to the people waiting so nobody feels forgotten, and a program tight enough that nobody stands in the cold longer than they have to.

Lidl US announced the opening, and the safety measures in place for visitors, on its Facebook page that day. This is the kind of room a corporate event planner never wants to hand to an untested host. It is one of 74 Lidl US grand openings we have hosted over seven years. See the Lidl US case study.

Philadelphia events we have hosted

In Philadelphia we have worked as DJ and emcee for brands and businesses that needed the room to feel right and the program to run on time:

  • Saquon Barkley’s Hope to Dream with Ashley and The Salvation Army, The Phield House, Philadelphia, November 2025, DJ and emcee. Case study above
  • Ashley experiential activation with Jordan and Jonathan Knight of New Kids on the Block, Bensalem, Bucks County, February 7, 2026, about 300 fans, emcee and DJ. Case study above
  • Brickworks Design Studio, 123 Broad Street, Philadelphia, 2023 and 2024, DJ and emcee
  • Lidl US grand opening, Roosevelt Boulevard, Northeast Philadelphia, December 2, 2020, DJ and emcee. Case study above One of 74 Lidl US grand openings we have hosted; see the Lidl US case study.
  • Insomnia Cookies, two Philadelphia locations, 2023, DJ and emcee
  • DJ at the Polls, a nonpartisan Election Day event, AMY Northwest Middle School, Philadelphia, November 5, 2024, emcee and DJ
  • Philadelphia Chocolate, Wine and Whiskey Festival, Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Montgomery County, February 18, 2023, emcee and DJ, an all day ticketed festival covered by CBS News Philadelphia (CBS News Philadelphia coverage). The crowd response led to two more festival dates, and the producers brought us to the Pittsburgh Chocolate, Wine and Whiskey Festival at Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh on February 25, 2023, as emcee and DJ. A ticketed public festival is the opposite of a seated corporate program: the audience arrives in waves, moves between tasting stations and never sits down, so the host has to build energy in cycles instead of holding one line of attention.

Recent Philadelphia region bookings: summer and autumn 2026

Our most recent work in the Philadelphia market is retail and brand activation work for Ashley, booked through Regency Management Services. We were emcee and DJ at each of these:

  • Ashley Ultimate Summer Giveaway series, summer 2026: all three stops, in York, Pennsylvania and in Deptford and Northfield, New Jersey. Each stop had interactive booths from local radio stations, and Q102 Philly covered the series.
  • October 3, 2026, Ashley, Cherry Hill, New Jersey: the Slam Dunk Savings giveaway, where Tyrese Maxey of the Philadelphia 76ers met fans starting at 4pm. The day offered 20 percent off all furniture and a chance to win up to $10,000 in Ashley gift certificates, and 97.5 The Fanatic and Q102 promoted it on air. We hosted and DJed.

A celebrity appearance with radio partners promoting it is a timing problem as much as an entertainment one: the crowd arrives before the guest, the guest has a fixed window and the giveaways have to land while the room is still full. What a corporate event emcee does in a Philadelphia room

Philadelphia corporate events draw from Center City firms, the University City research community and the suburban corridors along the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Audiences expect substance. The emcee keeps the program moving and makes the people on stage look good.

  • Opens the program, sets expectations and gets the room settled fast
  • Introduces executives, speakers and honorees with names and titles right the first time
  • Covers transitions and technical delays so the room never sits in dead air
  • Keeps general sessions and award segments on time
  • Drives audience engagement moments that serve the event objective, not the host

Emcee and DJ in one booking

Most corporate events in Philadelphia hire a host and a DJ separately, then hope the handoffs work. We run both from one position: the same person who introduces your CEO also fires the walk up music, so there is no gap between the mic and the music and no second vendor to brief. For a corporate event planner, that means one contract, one run of show and one call on show day.

For the music side of Philadelphia events, see our corporate event DJ in Philadelphia page, or compare options in the 2026 guide to corporate event DJs and emcees in Philly.

Philadelphia venues and rooms we have worked

Every Philadelphia room has its own load-in, sound limits and flow. These are the Philadelphia area rooms and locations where we have hosted, emceed or DJed:

  • The Phield House, Philadelphia, November 2025: Saquon Barkley’s Hope to Dream with Ashley and The Salvation Army, DJ and emcee.
  • 123 Broad Street, Philadelphia, 2023 and 2024: Brickworks Design Studio, DJ and emcee, two years running.
  • Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, Oaks, Montgomery County, February 18, 2023: Philadelphia Chocolate, Wine and Whiskey Festival, an all day ticketed festival, emcee and DJ.
  • Bensalem, Bucks County, February 7, 2026: Ashley experiential activation with Jordan and Jonathan Knight of New Kids on the Block, about 300 fans, emcee and DJ.
  • Roosevelt Boulevard, Northeast Philadelphia, December 2, 2020: Lidl US grand opening, DJ and emcee.
  • Two Philadelphia Insomnia Cookies locations, 2023: DJ and emcee.

Beyond those, Philadelphia corporate programs commonly land in downtown hotel ballrooms, museums such as the Franklin Institute and the Please Touch Museum, and boutique event spaces in converted office towers. We work with each venue’s AV team and production contact before the day so the program does not depend on guessing at the room.

The Philadelphia corporate event market

Philadelphia books in several corridors: Center City offices and hotels, the Navy Yard, University City, the Main Line, and the King of Prussia and Great Valley corridor. Center City and Navy Yard programs lean toward receptions and awards where the host controls pacing, while King of Prussia and Great Valley programs are usually full day conferences and sales kickoffs.

What it costs to book a corporate event emcee

Price depends on the hours, the number of segments we host and whether we also run music. For a closer number, use our pricing calculator or read what a corporate emcee costs.

What drives the number in Philadelphia. In person half day programs, up to five hours, are $5,000. In person full day programs, up to eight hours, are $8,000. Brand activations start at $3,500 for up to six hours. Virtual programs, up to three hours, are a separate remote service at $2,500. Multi day and multi city events are scoped separately. Philadelphia is our home market, so we do not treat it like an out of state trip.

What moves the price up or down. Total hours on the floor, the number of segments we host such as welcome, speaker introductions, awards and the close, whether we also run music, and how complex the load-in is at the venue.

What to ask any Philadelphia emcee before you sign. Have they hosted rooms like yours, and can they name them? Will they walk the room and speak with the venue’s AV team beforehand? Who covers if something runs long? What is included in the quote, and what is added? Our approach is in the section on how we prepare.

How we prepare

  • A planning call to learn the business goal, the audience and the moments that matter most
  • We work from your run of show and coordinate directly with your producer and AV team before load in
  • Name pronunciations, titles and award order confirmed in writing before the event
  • We arrive two hours before start time to set up and test. Full details are in our technical rider
  • Fully insured, with a certificate of insurance available on request

Getting to Philadelphia From Marlton, NJ

We are based in Marlton, New Jersey, which makes Philadelphia convenient for many corporate events. We still confirm parking, loading access, setup windows and venue AV requirements ahead of time, and coordinate with the venue and your planner so timing and equipment are settled before the day.

We have worked rooms across the area, including The Phield House, 123 Broad Street, the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks and a Bensalem activation in Bucks County. Travel costs depend on the location, the schedule and the overall production needs, and we confirm them in your quote.

Hosting From the Floor, Including Hybrid Events

For hybrid events, we can host from the floor rather than staying behind the DJ booth. That lets us engage the in-person audience, interact with speakers and help manage transitions. We coordinate closely with the AV and production teams so microphones, virtual audience participation and remote speaker hand-offs run smoothly.

Frequently asked questions

How far are you from Philadelphia?

We are based in Marlton, New Jersey, about 30 minutes from Center City, so Philadelphia is home market travel, not a road trip.

Do you cover the suburbs?

Yes. King of Prussia, the Main Line, the Navy Yard, University City and South Jersey are all within our regular service area.

Can one person emcee and DJ the same event?

Yes, and it is our most booked format. One operator runs the mic and the music from the same position.

Do you work with the venue AV team?

Always. We coordinate with your producer and the in house AV team on the run of show before load in, and we bring backup wireless microphones.

How much does a corporate event emcee cost in Philadelphia?

In person half day programs, up to five hours, are $5,000. In person full day programs, up to eight hours, are $8,000. Brand activations start at $3,500 for up to six hours. Virtual programs are a separate remote service at $2,500. Multi day events are scoped separately.

Which Philadelphia venues have you worked?

The Phield House and 123 Broad Street in Philadelphia, the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Bensalem in Bucks County, a Lidl US grand opening in Northeast Philadelphia and two Philadelphia Insomnia Cookies locations. The full list is in the venues section above.

How far ahead should I book a Philadelphia corporate event emcee?

Check your date with us as early as you can, so we can confirm availability and plan the run of show.

Do you need to confirm AV and loading access at Philadelphia venues?

Yes. We confirm parking, loading access, setup windows and AV requirements with the venue ahead of time.

Do you host from behind the DJ booth?

For hybrid events, we can host from the floor instead. That lets us engage the in-person audience and speakers while coordinating with AV for remote speakers and virtual participation.
